• Statement of the Jury

On Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Boxing Klub in Prishtina, Stacion - Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina closed the exhibition of finalist of Artists of Tomorrow Award 2017 with Meriton Maloku, Jetullah Sylejmani, Enesa Xheladini, and announced the winner of Artists of Tomorrow Award 2017.

The Jury of the Artists of Tomorrow Award 2017, comprising Charles Esche, the director of the Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, Erëmirë Krasniqi, researcher and director of Oral History Kosovo, Nataša Petrešin Bachelez, art critic and independent curator, Adrian Deva, artist and art educator and Renaud Proch, Executive Director of ICI (Independent Curators International) New York, announced Meriton Maloku the winner of Artists of Tomorrow Award 2017.

On July 25, 2017, the Jury of The Artists of Tomorrow Award 2017, comprising Charles Esche, Erëmirë Krasniqi, Nataša Petrešin, Adrian Deva dhe Renaud Proch, selected three finalists out of eleven applications.

Meriton Maloku will become part of an artist in residency program in United States to experience New York’s dynamic art scene for a two month residency at Residency Unlimited.

Upon his return form US, Meriton Maloku will have a solo exhibition at Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina, as part of the exhibitions program of the institution and the Artists of Tomorrow Award program.
