Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina is pleased to presents the first solo exhibition of Agim Balaj.
The exhibition 'But what distinguishes the worst bees from the best of architects is this, that the bee raises his structure in imagination before she erects it in reality’ with Agim Balaj, apart from themes offered from the observation, the interest and the artistic research or the artist, also presents the continuation of an exploration by the institution into the art scene and artists that are self-educated and are found detached from the influence of the system that is created by the education system, are outside the cultural academic structures, but have had an impact on the developments of art and culture scene in Kosovo.

In recent years with their works, artists and groups of artists have emerged from this structure that have challenged with their creative non-conformist work, the present education system, and not only this part of the establishment.

Agim Balaj was born in Prizren (1980). Balaj has graduated in the Faculty of Economics, University of Prishtina. Agim Balaj was part of the exhibition 7: Agim Balaj and Dritero Nikqi (2013) Stacion – Center for Contemporary Art Prishtina.
